Pricing questions
- Is the free plan really free?
- Yes. No credit card, no trial period, no pay-later trick. For the first 12 months after launch, every tradie listing is free — every feature included.
- What happens after the first year?
- We'll launch a paid Pro tier for tradies who want boosted visibility. A free basic listing option will still exist, but the exact shape of that is something we'll decide closer to the time based on what's working for tradies on the platform.
- How does the early-bird bonus work?
- The first 100 tradies to list on aussietradesdirectory get Pro free for 12 months from the day we launch Pro. You don't have to do anything — we flip it on automatically based on your signup order. Spots fill by order of published listings, not signups still in review.
- Do you take a cut of my jobs?
- No. We're a directory, not a marketplace. Customers contact you directly through your profile. You invoice them, you get paid. We're never involved in the transaction and we never take a commission.
- Can I cancel or delete my account?
- Any time, one click, from your Profile page. Your listing, reviews, and media are hard-deleted immediately. You can also download everything as JSON or CSV first.
- What about ads?
- The site shows a small number of ad slots to help cover our costs while listings are free. Ads never appear above your own profile content and we never inject sponsored results into search.
